Former Muldrow player, Auburn women beat Kentucky, fall to Alabama

Former Muldrow Lady Bulldog Taylen Collins, who transferred from Oklahoma State to Auburn, and her Lady Tigers defeated Kentucky 78-50 Thursday night at Neville Arena in Auburn, Ala., but lost 67-61 to archrival Alabama on Sunday inTuscaloosa.

In the win over Kentucky, Collins had a double-double with 19 points and 11 rebounds to go with three steals and two blocked shots.

In the loss to Alabama, Collins scored four points and grabbed seven rebounds to go with a steal.

The Tigers (16-9 overall, 5-7 in Southeastern Conference play) will return to action Thursday night with a road game against defending national champion Louisiana State University beginning at 8 p.m. in Baton Rouge, La.
