The Oklahoma Tax Commission recently released city sales tax collection figures that primarily represents local tax receipts from November business. The monies they reported this period represent sales from Nov. 16 to 30 and estimated sales from Dec 1 to 15.
Statewide, the disbursement of $205,027,061 in sales tax collections returned to the cities and towns reflected a decrease of $5,897,093 from the $199,129,968 distributed to the cities and towns in January last year. The use tax disbursement to cities and town was $42,999,318 according to the Oklahoma Tax Commission.
In county returns, the counties shared in a $33,550,697 sales tax disbursement and a $7,943,171 use tax disbursement.
