HENRYETTA — Central Lady Tigers cross country runner Alyvia Warner will have one more meet left this season — and it will be on the biggest stage there is, state.
The Central freshman finished 11th at Saturday’s Class 2A Regional Meet, and, more importantly, grabbed the sixth out of seven individual berths to next Saturday’s state meet. Warner finished the two-mile course with a time of 14:10.06.
Warner will run at the Class 2A State Meet at 11 a.m. this Saturday at Edmond Santa Fe High School.
Three other Lady Tigers ran at the regional meet. Freshman Paris Campbell was 20th with a time of 14:35.48, which was about 24 seconds behind the runner who grabbed the seventh and final individual berth to state — Pkemah’s Madison Basinger, who finished 13th with a time of 14:11.78.
Junior Ryleigh Pierce was 54th (15:55.67) and freshman Rileigh Ford was 88th (17:01.64).
