Adair Co. OSU Ext. annual Pasture Tour is Sept. 20

The third annual Adair County OSU Extension Pasture Tour will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Sept. 20 at Snyder Ranch & GPE Farms. There will also be two hours of CEU’s for pesticide applicators.

Program topics include: Stocker Calf Management, Cattle Handling Facilities, Forage Quality & Supplementation Fertility/Herbicide Application Considerations, Alternative Feed Sources for Livestock, Plant/Brush ID & Control Options, and Soil/ Forage Sampling Demonstration.

Lunch is sponsored by Todd Snyder and L & S Feed and Supply, with lunch hosted and provided by Double R & P. There will also be great door prizes.
