A late rally by the Roland Lady Rangers doomed the Lady Tigers as they lost 10-3 Thursday afternoon at home.
In the loss to Vian, the Lady Tigers (0-7) got two singles by Ayrland Jiles and a single apiece from Brianna Taylor and Riley Rowland.
Vian broke a scoreless tie with a pair of four-run innings in the second and third innings, then put the game into run-rule status with a three-run fourth inning.
Jiles (0-7) took the loss, recording a strikeout in four innings.
In the loss to Roland, the Lady Rangers (5-4) broke a 3-all tie with a single run in the fourth inning and six runs in the fifth inning.
In defeat, Keeley Poindexter was 2-for-3 with a double and an RBI, Jiles tripled and scored once and Avery Warner tripled with an RBI for the Lady Tigers. Jiles took the loss, despite fanning five batters.
In the loss to Pocola, the Lady Indians spoiled the Lady Tigers’ home opener with a five-run sixth inning to get the come-frombehind win.
Trailing 1-0, the Lady Tigers scored four runs in the first inning for a 4-1 lead after an inning.
After Pocola tied the game at 4 in the fourth inning, the Lady Tigers scored twice in their half of the frame to take a 6-4 lead after four innings.
In defeat, Jiles was 3-for-4 with a double, two triples, two runs scored and a run batted in, while Allie Harris tripled for Central. Jiles took the loss, recording two strikeouts.
The Lady Tigers had their Aug. 14 game canceled by Webbers Falls.
