Deer is listed as cause of collision
A deer has been listed as the cause of a collision that happened early Friday morning, three miles west of Muldrow.
Troopers Spencer Schmille #353 and Brice Earls #426 of the Sequoyah County detachment of OHP Troop C reported Tom Thomas, 30, of Muldrow, was driving westbound on Hwy. 64 on a 2015 Kawasaki Versys 1000 when he struck a deer in the roadway.
Thomas was transported by Pafford EMS to Baptist Hospital in Fort Smith, Ark. where he was admitted in stable condition with arm injuries.
The troopers noted Thomas was wearing a helmet at the time of the collision.
