STILLWATER — Oklahoma State softball student-athlete Morgyn Wynne is one of eight recipients of the McLendon Foundation Postgraduate Scholarship, it was announced last Wednesday.
McLendon Minority Postgraduate Scholarship winners receive a $10,000 grant to be used towards postgraduate studies in athletics administration.
This is the latest recognition for Wynne, who was honored as an Academic All-American, an OSU Senior of Significance and was a four-time Academic All-Big 12 honoree. Wynne was the Big 12 Conference representative on the NCAA DI Student-Athlete Advisory Committee and served as vice president, then president of the Oklahoma State Student-Athlete Advisory Committee.
On the field, Wynne helped lead the Cowgirls to their first Big 12 Tournament title in 2022 and to Women’s College World Series appearances in 2022 and 2023. She batted .306 with 11 home runs and 45 runs batted in as a senior in 2023.
