Roland Middle School’s Staff Spotlight would like to introduce you to the middle school’s ELA Department, Dillon Corbit, Chavaughn Colwell and Trey Greer.
Mr. Corbit teaches seventh grade English classes and had a Current Events class this past school year as well. He also assists in athletic programs, including football and weightlifting, where he is planning to have a bigger role in this upcoming school year. This was his first year with Roland Schools and the middle school feels very fortunate to have him.
Mrs. Colwell teaches eighth grade English classes and FACS, better known as Home Ec. She is also in charge of our middle school Student Council and spends numerous hours weekly offering tutoring throughout the school year. She has worked with Roland Schools for the past 10 years.
Mr. Greer is a reading specialist that teaches sixth grade English classes and Quiz Bowl. He also is in charge of the middle school Honor Club and volunteers countless hours with the TSA and robotics programs. He is a Roland graduate who has worked with Roland Schools for the past 16 years and has been at the middle school for the past three.
