Tulsa – A Celebration of Life service for Brenda Jean Shaw, 67, of Tulsa, will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 27, 2023, at Seabolt Cemetery in Muldrow.
Cremation is under the direction of Agent & Mallory-Martin Funeral Home.
Mrs. Shaw was born on Nov. 26, 1955, in Tulsa to Eli Houston McAnelly and Elsie Louise (Goff) McAnelly. She died on Monday, May 15, 2023, in Tahlequah.
She was a bakery-deli manager. Survivors include her husband, Bobby Cooks of the home; two daughters, JoAnn and James Lee and Brandi Cooks, all of Tulsa; two sisters, Glenda and John Green of Tahlequah and Marlene Knight of Hulbert; seven grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and other family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two sons, Anthony McAnelly and Larry Blake; one sister, Earlene Hunter; one brother, Richard McAnelly; and a grandson.
