Sallisaw – Funeral services for Velma (Philpot) Moulder, 88 of Sallisaw, were at 11 a.m. Thursday, May 4, 2023, at Brushy Holiness Church in Sallisaw.
Burial followed at Brushy Cemetery in Sallisaw under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.
Mrs. Moulder was born on Aug. 1, 1934, in Brushy to Levita Mae (Ball) Philpot and Charles Richard Philpot. She died on April 28, 2023, in Sallisaw.
She married Aaron Galveston “A.G.” Moulder on Feb. 9, 1952 in Texarkana, Ark. He preceded her in death on June 11, 2004.
She was a homemaker. Survivors are two daughters, Dolores Lockhart of Muldrow and Darla Strickland of Sallisaw; one son, Don Moulder of Sallisaw; 11 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; one brother, Paul Philpot of Sallisaw; and several other relatives and friends.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Dana Price; one son, Danny Moulder; two brothers, Charles Philpot and Hoyet Philpot; and one sister, Doris Phillips.
Pallbearers were her nephews.
