Marble City – Funeral services for Carline Taylor, 84, of Marble City, were held at 2 p.m. Friday, May 5, 2023, at the Agent & Mallory-Martin Chapel in Sallisaw.
Burial was at Marble City Cemetery under the direction of Agent & Mallory-Martin Funeral Home.
Mrs. Taylor was born on March 19, 1939, in Sallisaw, to Curtis Emerson and Florence (Hensley) Emerson. She died on Friday, April 28, 2023, in Muskogee.
She was a nurse’s aide. She married William “Bill” Taylor on Oct. 28, 1955, in Burns Flat. He preceded her in death on Nov. 26, 2018.
Survivors include two daughters, Donna Kilgore of Stilwell and Dana Haney of Gore; two sons, David Taylor of Ames, Iowa and Derrall Taylor of Marble City; 12 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and other family members and friends.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Wanda and Pauline; five brothers, Thurman, Gene, Kenneth, James and Keith; and one granddaughter.
Pallbearers were Billy Haney, Michael Haney, Derrall Taylor, Cody Taylor, David Taylor and David Taylor Jr.
