On October 28, Roland Middle School students from sixth to ninth grade participated in ICTC’s 5th annual “You Build It contest.” Students built their dream houses out of popsicle sticks and competed against schools from all across the county. The seventh grade team of Sadie Daws, Rylee Stubbs and Jozlynn Williams won first in their division and overall grand champion. Each member of the team won a sander for the school and gift cards for themselves.
