Sallisaw â Funeral services for Patsy Ruth Starr, 82 of Sallisaw, were held at 10 a.m. Monday, May 23, 2022, at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Sallisaw. Burial followed at Sallisaw City Cemetery under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.

Mrs. Starr was born Oct. 28, 1939, in Waldron, Ark., to Daisy (Frazier) Cardwell and Grady Rice. She passed away on Wednesday, May 18, 2022, in Sallisaw.
She married Bobby D. Starr on Aug. 31, 1957, in Poteau. He preceded her in death on Jan. 15, 2021.
She was co-owner/operator of Star Furniture Manufacturing Company.
Survivors are two daughters, Reecia Goodwin of Sallisaw and Regina Southerland and Robert of Bokoshe; one son, Robert Starr and Marilyn of Sallisaw; 12 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; nine great-great-grandchildren; one brother, Grady Rice and Susie of Van Buren, Ark.; and other relatives and friends.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; and two sisters, Lajune Hatley and Beth Koprovic.
Active pallbearers were Ben Hogan, Nick Starr, Michael Lee, Conner James, David Kehl and Robert Southerland.
Honorary pallbearers were Fisher Lee, Isaac O’Neal, Isaiah O’Neal, Eli Stacy, E.J. Stacy, Chase Quickel and Kevin Horn.
